No, it should look something like

Exchanging collection information
Establishing multiplexed-mode data connection
Running
Updating collection src-all/cvs
 Edit src/release/Makefile
  Add delta 1.536.2.45 2001.06.22.00.37.19 bmah
  Add delta 1.536.2.46 2001.06.22.01.18.40 bmah
 Edit src/release/doc/Makefile
  Add delta 1.2.2.3 2001.06.22.00.35.10 bmah
 Edit src/release/doc/README
  Add delta 1.7.2.2 2001.06.22.00.35.10 bmah

I would guess up front that you used a bad default of some sort. You
might list your stable-supfile.
