OK, I ran Superprobe and this is what I got:

First video: Super-VGA
Chipset: Yamaha 6388 VPDC (Port Probed)
        RAMDAC: Generic 8-bit pseudo-color DAC
(with 6-bit wide lookup tables (or in 6-bit mode))

This the realavant part of XF86Config:

#<ITEM>
#<DATE> 2000/01/09
#<NAME> Yoshiro MIHIRA
#<ADDR> sanpei@sanpei.org
#<MCN> IBM ThinkPAD 600
#<CPU> Intel Pentium II-266MHz
#<BIOS> ??
#<OS> FreeBSD
#<OSV> 4.0-current(1999/12/22)
#<XFRV> XFree86 3.3.5
#<XFRS> XF86_SVGA
#<VCHIP> NeoMagic 128XD
#<RAMDAC> included in video chip
#<VBUS> Local-BUS
#<VRAM> 2Mbytes
#<VDEPTH> 16
#<RESOL> 1024 x 768
#<LCDSIZE> ???
#<LCDTYPE> TFT

Does that mean it will work?
