Right, it is 4.4-RC, but it is NOT 4.4-RC1 - the snapshot that was
released a few days ago.

To answer the original poster's question: RELENG_4 will download
the lated 4.3-STABLE files, which are a bit past the 4.4-RC1 snapshot.
