Hi,

can any one help me with this.
As far as i know inetd daemon has ftp, telnetd etc..
what my prob. is how the actual tcp/ip stack running?
ie we know that there are modules for ip_input , ip_output, tcp_input
etc....
how r these modules combined. R they running as a single process? or
separate processes?

if i see ps -aef which is the process which is running tcp/ip
stack.or
is it some daemon?

TIA (thanx in advance..)
