Sorry about posting this to -mobile, but the freebsd box is a notebook
with a 3Com Etherlink III 3C589. After I posted the message, I was
looking around, and found some stuff....
When the freebsd pings the winbloz the return time is really bad, I am
talking in the 1000ms -to- 19000ms range. So the windows box could ping
the freebsd, but I think the windows ping doesn't want to wait for
returns in that horrible range. Why are the pings not coming back fast?
The connection distance is only 50feet, 10baseT. Any Ideas?

Thanks once again. :)
