Like many GPL zealots, you appear to want to put discussions of the GPL's
effects off until its achieved its purpose. At which point it will, of
course, be too late.

Exactly. To Deutsch, the notion of ANYONE (other than him!) making money 
was evil.

A hypocritical and malicious viewpoint.
