If not, look into using floppy disks to boot from, or you can perform the install over a network (if your NIC can do PXE). As a last resort, you could even take the hard drive out of the Sony (a laptop?, I'd gather) and do the FreeBSD install on different hardware which can boot from the CD. -- -Chuck
