Hi, I gave two prefixes through the prefix command. My other machine formed addresses based on the prefixes. By seeing the addresses i got the following doubt. a)Whether there is any limit on the number prefixes that can be broadcast by a router on a perticular interface? b)Suppose the router broadcasts 4 site local prefixes can a host form four site local addresse? What i mean is Iam doing these things on my own simple 2 PC network. If suppose the same thing is done on a ipv6 internet does it violate any rules? c)can the host communicate with other hosts in a differnet subent through any of the four addresses? Kindly reply. regards ravi prasad __________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape Webmail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-net" in the body of the message
