Here is the procedure, taken from /usr/src/UPDATING. Also cvsup your ports and read /usr/ports/UPDATING. There are important things to do listed in both of them. To rebuild everything and install it on the current system. ----------------------------------------------------------- # Note: sometimes if you are running current you gotta do more than # is listed here if you are upgrading from a really old current. make buildworld make buildkernel KERNCONF=YOUR_KERNEL_HERE make installkernel KERNCONF=YOUR_KERNEL_HERE /etc/rc.d/preseedrandom mergemaster -p make installworld mergemaster I hope this is a help and not a hinderance to you.
