Apart from running ZFS I don't see a good reason to switch, unless
you're regularly running out of address space.

I don't think any of this is a problem on amd64. I can speak from
experience that ImageMagick, ghostscript and postfix work fine on
amd64. Apart from binary-only 32 bit stuff (which won't work), there are
not many programs that have problems on amd64 in my experience.

There is an FreeBSD-amd64 list that might be usefull as well.
