This is because of greylisting. Greylisiting works under the
assumption that many spam bots try to send a mail only once. If the
mail is not accepted, they give up.

So, greylisting accepts and email only on the nth attempt, so your
mail does not show at once in the list, but after a certain time.

Punctuation matters:
