Sadly, I know the feeling - it's something I've been meaning to do for 
months as well.  :-(

I have no commit privs or anything like that.

Not a problem.  Later on (I have to go to work now), I will file a PR
containing my suggestions for improvement before it goes in, as I
noticed a couple of things that perhaps should and perhaps shouldn't
be there.
