I'm not very interested in the thread, but concerning this:

"I've seen some problems with ghostscript-fonts (because I don't
understand why it wont work with ghostscript-afpl) ...."

I submitted the first gnu-ghostscript and gsfonts ports so I got to answer..
The fonts on both ghostscript versions are exactly the same. Our gsfonts port
doesn't work on afpl ghostscript for a simple reason: both ports install the
fonts on different directories. The Aladdin people did this on purpose because
the cannot use GPL'd fonts. I suggested some years ago they should use the LGPL
and unify the font distribution but the copyright owners didn't like the idea,
I guess someone should tell Aladdin that dual licensing was invented
afterwards.

just my $0.02.

   Pedro.
