Hi,

I'm new to the list (I *FINALLY* got around to installing freeBSD
after 4 months of doing nothign with the CD....I do have your basic
unix experience but am new to the world of system administration.

So go to add a user via 'adduser', with the shell being bash, and for
some reason, when I login using the newly created user, I cannot use
pico. Ok, so that would mean that the pathway is not being set up
correctly to read /usr/local/bin on the startup of the user shell,
correct? Wait, there is more...

I use sysinstall to create a new user, set the shell to bash
(/usr/local/bin/bash), and login using the account created with
sysinstall it finds pico....

Does anyone have an idea as to why this may be? Is there something I
have over looked? That's all I can think of right now, my brian is
fried...

Looking forward to having fun with you all!

Later!
Tony
