Subject: rc.d scripts should recognize "stop"?

I just did a make world and when I rebooted got the message that "You seem
to be using old-style rc.d scripts. Make sure they recognize the stop
command."

I don't understand.

I looked in the archives and saw a HEADS UP about this, I think, but I
didn't understand it. My local rc.d directory has all local startup scripts
(#!/bin/sh).

What is it I need to change?
