try a netstat -an |grep LISTEN

check which ports are you listening to thats very odd (like above 1024)
and if you find your rogue port try telnetting to it it might be a backdoor.

I did a ps-ax this morning and saw a process called "mech" running
"./mech" for that matter and I don't know what it is.  Does anyone know
what "mech" is?
