Hit ctrl-C when it gets stuck, that might help you out. It will 
most likely keep going after a few minutes anyway. Sendmail gets 
peeved if your IP doesn't reverse lookup (hopefully someone else 
will tell you how to fix this).

To fix sshd, try deleting all the files with "key" in their names 
in /etc/ssh.
