With almost the same hardware (I use 2x NCR SCSI controllers), I get less than 2 hours of "make world" (with an empty /usr/obj)... P/I P55T2P4 w/512 pipelined burst cache, 64 MB EDO, 2x NCR-810a with /usr/src on one disk on the 1st controller and /usr/obj on another on the second controller. I have a P133 pushed at 166 by having the motherboard running at 83 MHz. -------------------------------------------------------------- make world completed on Mon Apr 21 05:18:28 CEST 1997 -------------------------------------------------------------- 6695.07 real 4349.80 user 886.57 sys Mon Apr 21 05:18:28 CEST 1997 OK, I don't have the profiled libs... -- Ollivier ROBERT -=- FreeBSD: There are no limits -=- roberto@keltia.freenix.fr FreeBSD keltia.freenix.fr 3.0-CURRENT #9: Thu May 8 20:22:51 CEST 1997
