I'me using a Sitecom usb to serial adaptor, which is supported by the
uplcom, ucom drives. I have been using it on 4.7 before i upgrade to 5.0
current at the moment. It runs nicely. I think there are some other
no-name brands like this who sell them. But just have a look in the
local shop and ask them if you may try one ot two. just load the modules=20
ucom.ko and uplcom.ko and look if you see some things happening like=20
