Go ahead and change it.

Well, that's "most". :) And the wish port is not broken, it was
designed that way from the beginning.

Go to thud's /usr/local/bin and do a ldd then, you'll be surprised to
find the number of -lX11's in there. It is impossible to clear
/usr/local/bin of X ports, as so many of them are designed to install
auxiliary files in /usr/local/*. To me, it makes more sense to try to
put all stuff from a port in a single hierarchy.

This is nothing more than a difference in opinion, so I don't think we
are going to reach an agreement by further discussion. So let me say
I'm going to change it unless you want to be the MAINTAINER. :)
