Granted.  Perhaps we just need to tone it down a bit then.  On my system
the warning appears when you first enter the fdisk editor, and then
every time you move the cursor it reappears.  It claims that it is
selecting a more sensible setting, but even so it still throws up loads
of warnings. Perhaps it only needs to be displayed once, or maybe the
'make up a suggested geometry setting' code is broken on modern systems.
