Now that the 64 bit version of Windows is out, and both Intel and AMD 
have 64 bit desktop chips out, I think 64 bit chips will be everywhere 
in a hurry.

Accordingly, I suspect the number of people using FreeBSD-amd64 in the 
next year will grow several orders of magnitude (since the previous user 
base was probably fairly small).
