I was running 4.5-rc2 with a fair amount of success though on boot the system would occasionally hang. It's at random places, usually past kernel setup but during system initialization. I always just rebooted and it would work the next time. With 4-5-stable it took me 4 or 5 attempts to finally get the system up. It's a laptop so it doesn't have long uptimes. Once the system is up, it's never hung up on me though. Anybody else seeing this? In general? On thinkpads? davido P.S. I am not subscribed anymore so please cc me. Thanks.
