I have the amd.conf and the map files in place, and amd mounts one directory at a time without hesitation. However when I try to mount many directories in rapid succession amd gets hung and refuses to answer any requests, although it does unmount the directories it mounted after the time interval. More disturbing to me is the fact that nothing, not even a kill -9 will terminate amd, I have to reboot the box. We have several scripts that mount user directories on various servers. If I run a script that attempts to access all of the user directories on all of the servers amd locks up around 63 or 64 out of 80. I'm using 3.2-Stable, but I'm sending this to -current because I know that there has been a lot of work on NFS lately. I am willing to try whatever it takes to get this working, conf options, patches, what have you. I would be lying in a pool of my own blood hearing Mrs. Armey standing over me saying, 'How do I reload this damn thing?'"
