I just did a full OS & pkg's upgrade after an unexpected power-burp which my UPS *didn't* handle (weak battery). During the subsequent reboots, I got output from healthd saying one of my cores was a bit warm @ 52 (presumably C). However, sysctl reports wildly different temps: [root@kabini1, /etc, 8:44:25am] 330 % !tai tail -50 /var/log/messages ; hwclock -r ; date Aug 4 08:23:53 kabini1 healthd: Started Aug 4 08:23:53 kabini1 dbus[849]: [system] Activating service name='org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit' (using servicehelper) Aug 4 08:23:53 kabini1 dbus[849]: [system] Activating service name='org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1' (using servicehelper) Aug 4 08:23:53 kabini1 dbus[849]: [system] Successfully activated service 'org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1' Aug 4 08:23:53 kabini1 dbus[849]: [system] Successfully activated service 'org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit' Aug 4 08:23:53 kabini1 console-kit-daemon[973]: WARNING: kvm_getenvv failed: Aug 4 08:23:54 kabini1 root: /etc/rc.d/sysctl: WARNING: sysctl dev.amdtemp.0.sensor_offset does not exist.
