It works for me!

Epson Stylus Photo 1400
Libreoffice 3.4.5
FreeBSD 9.0
Cups 1.5.2
gutenprint-* 5.2.7

Driver:	Epson Stylus Photo 1400 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.7 (color, 2-sided
printing)
Connection: usb:/dev/unlpt0
Defaults: job-sheets=none, none media=iso_a4_210x297mm sides=one-sided

Also tried with different quoting
129.20.129.2 n'existe plus
'129.20.129.2 n'existe plus'
“129.20.129.2 n'existe plus”

Maybe if you are using lpd without cups there is a Text Filter?

Regards,
Alan
