If you don't use this new option, you still stay compatible, so
I don't understand your complaints. If it hurt, don't use it,
because it is nonstandard.

I already submit this change to Apache group, the say that they will
consider it. Apache development have very long period from version to
version to wait.

Porting process includes local enhancements too.
