But I can't get it working. I couln't find the solution in the newsgrous/ mailing lists, so I hope you can help me. Windows says it's an "Creative Labs SB Live 5.1 Sound Card". I compiled my kernel with the pcm device included, so in my opinion it should work fine. But the kernel doesn't detect my soundcard as an soundcard. I cvsupped my computer this morning to RELENG_4. As you can see i included my dmesg, the pciconf -vl output and my kernel configuration file. Am I the only-one with this problem, is there a solution?
