MSI K8D Master-3FS with dual Opteron 242
AHA 29160 SCSI card
2 bge (BroadCom) on board

>Description:

The network interface up and down frequently.
I can see the bge status changes frequently (by ifconfig) among:
	1. 1000baseTX <full-duplex>
	2. 100baseTX <full-duplex>
	3. 10baseTX <full-duplex>
	4. No carrier

The console shows "bge gigabit linkup" many times
and the network down for several minutes and up for
 	another while.
