With a few minor tweaks, there's a Qt/KDE frontend for pppd, that should
have no problem with FreeBSD.  Although if you use iijppp, you're out of
luck. It's also got a user manager tool, a LaserJet "control panel", and a
replacement for xdm (which doesn't seem to work quite well, but it's a
nice start). 

If you're looking at tk admin tools, tkcron looks useful.
