I have a cheapo smartcard reader that I got from Amex, that appears to be
made by a company called Gemplus. It's powered by the keyboard port and
communicates via the serial port. It appears to be a model GCR415.

Does smartcard reader/writer software exist for FreeBSD? I found a
utility called fineid, but it seems to be focused on a particular type of
smart chip. I've also found some other interesting things at a umich
site, but they all seem to require a Todos smartcard reader.

Ben
