Subject: Perl uses db2, but Postfix/Cyrus use db3, what to do..

I am implementing pop-then-smtp on our FreeBSD servers and have hit a snag.
Apparently, my installed perl is using db2 while the installed
Postfix/Cyrus is using db3. I need to be able to build a db using perl that
can be accessed by Postfix. Naturally, the version issue is causing a real
problem. It has been suggested that I downgrade Postfix and Cyrus to use
db2, but I already have quite a collection of db3-based Cyrus mailboxes. Do
I have to recompile perl with db3? Is there another way out of this?

Regards, Dustin
