Isn't that an EIDE CDROM??? (I think the SoundBlaster 16 has an IDE
controller on it). If it is, try connecting it as the slave to the primary
EIDE controller on your motherboard (the same one the HD is conected to).
Then it should be recognized by the wcd driver.
