Why do you want to buy a router when you can use one of your FreeBSD boxes
and another NIC to serve as a gateway computer and firewall as well?  Put
the unlimited power of FreeBSD to work.  That is what I did.  Wire in the
rest of the LAN to the gateway with a cheap switch.
