Howdy, I have installed FreeBSD 5.0 on my 5305 alpha and it runs fine, execpt I am not able to ping or telnet, or anything that requires a LAN, WAN and IP. The network card works, but I think there is something wrong with the SRM. As an insult to ALPHA and 64 bit systems, I installed WinNT 4.0 and I am able to ping telnet, even be a webserver. I get a stomach ache, knowing that my ALPHA has NT 4.0 installed. I really want to run FreeBSD 5.0, so can you all help me with my network issue? I am 99.5 % sure that it is a SRM issue, that affects the FreeBSD installation. Thanks, Diego Montalvo __________________________________________________ Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help?
