May i pass you today's pointing hat?  Don't worry, i fell into this
trap just a couple of days ago...  TRANS(SocketINETConnect) is a
message from the Xlib client that it can't establish the transport
layer to the Xserver.

Use -g if you don't wanna have the X11 interface but have a $DISPLAY
variable around.
