Dear FreeBSD'ers, On my FreeSBD 4-S box, I would like be able to convert rtf files into LaTeX ones, the rtf files having been produced by Word97(/2000), or... by StarOffice52 (ie, doc --> rtf). i) I have tried the rtf2latex port (print/rtf2latex), to no avail; ii) I have even tried the wv utilities port (textproc/wv): the conversion from doc to LaTeX doesn't seem to produce correct output; iii) I have been googling for a while, but I can't seem to find relevant information, except for other people complaining about the same problem. :-) Is it at all possible to convert relatively complex rtf (or even .doc) documents, also containing jpg/png images, into LaTeX ones satisfactorily? What am I missing? What are you using out there if I may ask? MTIA, Salvo (wishing to make use of *permanent* formats...;-)) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
