To tell you the truth, if I had to start over I would never have
switched.  My primary motivation for switching (better integration with
FreeBSD systems at work) turns out not to work out very well anyway, and
these problems are frustrating.  But at lot of *other* stuff is better
about FreeBSD, and switching back is another massive undertaking.  I'd
prefer to move forward rather than back if I could . . .
