Note that if you rebuild the above source you will get FreeBSD-CURRENT, not FreeBSD 12.x-RELEASE, which, from earlier posts, is what you want to distribute. What I believe you need to do is to make a patch against the appropriate 12-RELEASE source of the nxprtc driver changes in CURRENT and then rebuild that to get your fixed version of the 12.x-RELEASE nxprtc driver.
