"mdb" files are mono debugging symbol files which are created when mono is
built,  on powerpc64.  They are similar to the "pdb", program data files. I
don't know why they are not being built for other CPUs. The only difference=
s I
can see is "dtrace" and "btls" are disabled for powerpc64.

I'll continue to investigate. It may be necessary to disable "mdb" support =
when
building mono on powerpc64.
