Subject: Have you built kdelibs 3.5.10 8 on gcc 4.7? If so, do you get katepart crash (kwrite/kate)

Guys,

I know you build kdelibs, but I don't know if you have built on gcc 4.7 yet.
It seems there are code generation differences between gcc 4.6 and gcc 4.7 with
the code in kdelibs/kate/part/... that causes a runtime crash in kwrite (and
kate) when pasting from the select buffer into kwrite so that it causes the line
of text to wrap. Apparently, an infinite loop is encountered making backtraces
all over the map. We are currently working with the trinity project to fix the
code. The bug is being worked under:

http://bugs.pearsoncomputing.net/show_bug.cgi?id=979

We have also brought the opensuse developer into the loop as well. If you
build on gcc 4.7, then please test kwrite by:

opening kwrite and pasting 1-2 words at a time into the first line using the
select buffer until the line wraps.

If you experience a hang at that point, you have encountered this bug. If you
have more information on this bug, or a work around, please let me know. If we
are successful in developing a patch, I will pass that along. Thanks.
