I am migrating some server functionality from a NetBSD host to a newly =
built FreeBSD (stable/10) host. One of the functions of this server is =
accepting authenticated FTP connections to receive data files. The =
NetBSD ftpd has a configuration file (ftpd.conf) that allows, amongst =
other things, setting the "advertised address" and "port range" to be =
used for PASV connections (and assumedly EPSV, for port range). Is any =
of this possible with the base ftpd in FreeBSD 10? If not, is there a =
well-known suggested port that can be configured to perform this way? =
Running ftpd out of inetd would be fine, but I could run it as a =
long-lived service if that's strongly recommended.

  Thanks.

                 - Chris
