FreeBSD is 'compatable' with anything you so choose or set it up to be. If you mean will it run software made for Windows '95, the answer is not usually. There is an emulator, (wine), but it's not exactly stable. Some applications can function using wine, and some cannot. Generally speaking though, your outa luck. As far as dual booting goes; you're in-luck. FreeBSD comes with a boot mgr that will handle win95 partitions. It will give you the option to boot whichever partitions you have on your system at startup.
