I'm not sure that's true. I sometimes take my laptop with me when I take 
a dump. It's got a wireless card in there so I'm able to sit there and 
catch up on FreeBSD-questions threads via IMAP while enjoying the 
benefits of a fine after dinner...err...dump...all that at 11Mps. So 
dump does have network support.

Oh gawd...it's Friday night and this has been a l.o.n.g. week. I do 
apologize for the above.
