-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Is there any way to access a system if login can't resolve any hostnames and will not display a login prompt no matter how long you wait? Besides via the console :-)..... I can't access a machine that I admin because the DNS servers are down, etc.. I can even wait an hour there, and it won't show me a prompt.. There is no ssh installed on the system, which would probably work, although I have it set to use login as a auth method.. but, is there any other way I can either replace the resolv.conf on that machine or gain access to a login prompt :)..
