This solution worked for me: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=166262&cat= Other hint: I had very poor performance on USB pendrives and HDDs (about 2-5 MB/s in write). After changing SATA mode from AHCI to IDE, it started to work with normal speed (about 10MB/s for my pendrive) -- Marek
