It was originally purchased with a single DB-25 interface box and I've successfully been using it (with digi(4) and conserver-com) for many years. I recently added a second interface box (RJ-45) and have run into problems. Whilst the DB-25 ports still work, the RJ-45 ports report nonsense. Specifically, if I hand-type characters into tip with a loopback connection, the returned character appears to have been anded with 0xe1. The fact that both the LSB and several MSBs are correct implies that the speed and framing are correct. I don't understand why the middle bits are all zeros. I've tried a couple of different speeds without success - though if I paste a long string of 'a's at 110bps, I get back a string of 'A's - which implies that the framing isn't perfect. I noticed that the firmware (FEP/BIOS) has never been upgraded and tried upgrading it to the latest version (2.4.4 ISO 2.3.2) but that hasn't helped. Is anyone else using Digiboards or does anyone have any suggestions? BTW, talking of the firmware, the original Digi copyrights appear to have been lost somewhere along the line because the firmware files are now sporting a BSD license which the original definitely didn't have. --=20 Peter Jeremy --wq9mPyueHGvFACwf Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFFSFgP/opHv/APuIcRArV1AJsG/+YVbDwJauJjrT+H/JnyVt26rACdEv7K QacIPrlemZrnADP8vToRIIA= =hIdE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --wq9mPyueHGvFACwf--
