Hello,

We just purchased dell machines with perc3/di raid controller (with 128MB
cache). Now we don't plan to use RAID (but in future want), so I would
like to ask you, what is recommended way for using disks:

1. RAID controller in SCSI mode
2. RAID controller in RAID 0 mode (container volume)
3. RAID controller in RAID 0 mode (container stripe)

I which mode are disks fastest or are these modes equal? Is 128MB cache in
some mode unused?

Thanks

Ladislav Kostal
