On reflection, though, this seems like something which belongs in the "real" libtool distribution, and not simply in a local ports-collection patch for FreeBSD; since libtool is intended as a portability tool, many of its users may be using it for software that's intended to work on FreeBSD, but may not get libtool from our ports collection. Do you happen to know if any effort has been made to get this FreeBSD fix included in the primary libtool distribution? Dave.
