Sure. But here's two machines I have loaded this on to:

FreeBSD avalon.jetcafe.org 2.1-STABLE FreeBSD 2.1-STABLE #0: Sun Aug
11 23:12:32 1996 dave@avalon.jetcafe.org:/usr/src/sys/compile/AVALON
i386

FreeBSD elxr.jetcafe.org 2.1.5-RELEASE FreeBSD 2.1.5-RELEASE #0: Mon
Jul 29 05:01:05 PDT 1996 dave@elxr.jetcafe.org:/usr/src/sys/compile/ELXR i386

Note the time differences, those are approximately when I sup'd the
distributions.

I know. However, I agree with this 100%:

Also...

Are people still patching this tree? I thought you guys wanted to
freeze this code.

The practice of study only too often makes people mere repeaters and
producers of cliches and sayings. Such study has been all but wasted.
The product has taken the form in which we find it because it is an
unsuitable graft upon an unprepared basis.
